How Can A Painful Tailbone Injury Be Treated?

i fractured my tailbone in 2004 and in 2007 i have 2 sections of it removed. i was still having pain when i sit and 2 weeks ago i feel again right in my tailbone leaving a big bruise aand now it really hurts to sit and even bend down. i want to know if i can have the rest of my tailbone removed

Hi,

It might be a postoperative inflammation. As a first line management you can take analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Seratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

Generally the symptoms will settle in couple of days. If symptoms persist, better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated. In that case an MRI scan might be required.
