Psychiatrist 's  Response
it's a case of night time primary insomnia, which has led to day time sleepiness.
The only way it can be treated is by restoring adequate and fruitful sleep at night.
And not sleeping during day.
Avoiding stimulating drinks after 6 pm.
Using bed only for sleeping, if you do not fall asleep within 10 min of going to bed, get up and do some other work.
Avoid heavy meals in dinner.
Moderate exercise in morning.

low dose benzodiazepines if needed. Tretment of underlying depression if any. and by learning proper ways to deal with life event related stress- a psychiatric consultation will help you for this.

welcome for further advice.
thanks
