Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a spermotocell ( not sure of correct spelling) as it was called. Several years ago I had it removed, now it s returning. I was told the it is not cancerous, it s small now but I believe it will grow over time. It is above the right testicle and no problem now. Should I ignore it for the time being and if it grows have it removed again ? I have not seen my Dr. about it because this is just like the first one, so I m assuming the growth is the spermotocell. Have you any suggestions ?
Spermatocele is a cyst in epidermis filled with sperm which are not alive. It is not malignant. You can consult a surgeon. If it is growing in size then it can be removed. Do not worry.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash
