How Can A Subconjunctival Hemorrhage Be Treated?

I have a burst blood vessel in my eye, towards the edge of my eye by my nose. I ve felt pressure behind this eye for a couple of days now. My vision appears to be fine. It almost feels like I have sinus pressure. Should I be concerned about my vision?

Hello,

If the ruptured blood vessel caused reddening of the white matter of the eye then this is nothing dangerous and will improve without any treatment.

There is no connection to any disorder; it's just a random event and there are no concerns about vision loss. If you're talking about something else then please clarify!

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Panagiotis Zografakis, Internal Medicine Specialist
