Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Had skin cancer surgery on my nose. Dr wants me to use Vaseline on the dissolvable stitches instead of neosporin. He said Vaseline is just as effective as neosporin & will prevent the stitches from dissolving too quickly. However,I m very concerned about the site becoming infected. What do you think- Vaseline or neosporin?
