How Can Abdominal Pain And Bleeding Hemorrhoids Be Managed?

On Saturday, I had 2 large cups of coffee, some cookies I baked, and a bit of uncooked cookie dough w green food coloring. I had an unusually large bm, and began to bleed from my hemorrhoids. This is still going on. I still have some stomach pain and intestinal pain. When can I expect this to clear up? I was unable to finish preparing Christmas dinner; my family pitched in, but I was hoping to be better by now. I have eaten some bland food. FYI, I’m 67 yrs olds do female.

Hello,

First of all, avoid spicy, oily and fatty foods. Have a sitz bath (10 to 15 min sitting in hot/lukewarm water tub).

Apply Smuth cream (Calcium dobesilate, lignocaine, zinc and hydrocortisone) after toilet in morning and evening.

Take high fiber diet. Eat banana and drink plenty of water. If still bleeding not stops in 2-3 days, consult surgeon for surgical cautery.
