Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
Welcome to the healthcaremagic
They were thinking of TORSION OF TESTIS in which due to some reason testis twists around spermatic cord resulting in decreased blood supply to testicles which if persistent can cause gangrene and permanent damage to testis. This condition requires urgent operation.
Happy to help you
Best regards
