I've recently been diagnosed w/ adult ADHD - inattentive type. After years of being called spacey, flighty, being disorganized and having my mind all over, I was given an Rx for Concerta timed released 27mg. The first day I was a bit jittery, have been on it for the past 2 weeks and all I do is fidget with my toes and fingers. I cant seem to concentrate and basically dont feel right.
Hi, thanks for asking. I can understand your concerns. In my opinion you may ask your consulting doctor to increase the dose of concerta. Even if you don't find any improvement then you may try the non stimulant medications like atomoxitine. There are many medications for ADHD and it may take a while to determine which suits you and at what dose. Also the cognitive behavioural therapy may help you to be more organised and concentrate better. I hope I have helped you. Thank you.
