How Can Allergic Dry Eyes Be Treated While On Medication For Hypertension?
I have high blood pressure and take meds. I am suffering from seasonal allergies at the moment. I can not take an antihistamine as it dries out my eyes. Is there a nasal spray that would work well and be safe to use with my blood pressure meds?
As a first line management, you can use antihistamines eye drops for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated. It has got no relation to hypertension.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
