How Can Allergic Reaction To Poison Ivy Be Treated?
I have been given 2 seperate creams to relieve symtoms of poison ivy. latest is clobetasol propionate cream. The burning and now blisters that have appeared is awful. can there be anything that will help? Poison ivy has spread in some other parts of my body. this is now going into the 2nd WEEK of agony. Any suggestions? Thanks YYYY@YYYY
Since topical treatments have not been helping, you need to take oral prednisone. Please be advised to follow up with your primary care provider to get a prescription of Prednisone. Meanwhile, you can apply topical clobetasol and take oral cetirizine 10 mg once daily.
Hope this answers your question Please let me know if you need further clarifications Regards Dr.Lekshmi
