My hubby who s asst commanded in itbp panchkula haryana got acl full ligament tear during 9 feet jump. .......on 27 may 16..... from one month he s doing exercises in my guidance im a physiotherapist. .......sir I need to know should he go for reconstructive surgery. ......????? How long we should have to wait ?????plzzzz reply soon

Hello,

It may be due to injury.

For further assessment, I would suggest you to consult with orthopedician for detailed clinical examination.

He may require MRI knee as per evaluation.

Mean while, for pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

Use knee cap.

Use support while walking.

Avoid direct pressure on that knee.

You may require surgical intervention as per MRI report.
