How Can An Infected Wound On Skin Be Treated?

last week, i fell and scraped both legs halfway between knee and ankle, both have lost skin and are really red around the area with a creamy green covering over, we ve cleaned them with peroxide and have kept them covered,,,what else can we do,,,should i go to emergency to have them cleaned up or the doctors office or wat,,

General & Family Physician,  's  Response
1.     Clean the wound with betadine. Wash out all dust and dirt
2.     Injection Tetvac – stat intramuscular
3.     Amoxicillin 500 mg every 8 hours for 7 days
4.     Ibuprofen 600 mg every 8 hours per oral after meal for 3 days
5.     Keep the wound open. Do not cover it
6.     If you feel fever then go to hospital for further treatment
