How Can An Infected Wound On The Shin Be Treated?
I have a bad scrape on my shin that appears to be infected. The area is red all around it and the open areas are starting to get pus. How do I best treat this tonight so it does not get worse. I can get to a doctor tomorrow. I have only treated this with soap and water, and kept a bandage on it with petroleum jelly to keep it from sticking.

Hi, clean with savlon, and dress with any antibiotic cream. Keep the wound covered and avoid contact with water till you are able to see a doctor--regards
