If the symptoms are secondarily due to ADHD, then waiting for few weeks after adding intuniv (guanfacine) is required. As Intuniv helps in ADHD, the associated symptoms can also improve. If depression symptoms are isolated, zoloft (sertraline) can be started. But Zoloft has significant interaction with Intuniv and has to be monitored closely.
