How Can Atopic Dermatitis Be Treated?

Alevicyn dermal spray was prescribed by my dermatologist for my atopic dermatitis. I used it for the first time tonight. The insert said there might be a temporary burning or stinging if applied over broken skin. How long should it take for the stinging to subside? How long should I wait until I put on moisturizing cream after using the Alevicyn dermal spray as I am also supposed to use the moisturing cream after shower? Should I have used the moisturing cream after getting out or shower and then wait a few minutes before applying the dermal spray?
