How Can Back Pain While Suffering From Spinal Stenosis Be Treated?

I have a friend who I am a caregiver for. she suffers from spinal stenoises and she is 85yrs old. she has a lot of pain in her back but also more in her neck and shoulders. she takes Tylenol and uses heat to help. what else can she do she eats well. she does exercise and keeps moving as much as possible. yes the weather has a lot to do with how she feels. as well. she use the icy hot patches to help but it doesn t a lot. she even has it from the back of her ears down her back as well.

You can consider analgesics like tramadol or gabapentin for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopedician and plan for steroid injection.
