How Can Carpel Tunnel Syndrome Be Treated?

Im a 69 yo male diagnosed by a specialist Dr in Physical med & rehab by EMG as having Carpal tunnel syn of Lt hand .He advised to put the splint t nights only . I m wearing that for a wk but not feeling better and some times worse . What shall I do ? wear the splint 24 hr ? or what else ? I m scared...

hi. as the doctor suggested, u can use splints. if the problem aggravates inspire of split. it needs further evaluation and it must be treated surgically by doing decompression. kindly meet ur Ortho doc if the problem aggravates. thank u
