hi sir/mam,just relax.your lipid profile is absolutely normal.just see the below values:
1)HDL -if >50,it is considered very good and reduces your risk for atherosclerosis and thus heart attack.
2)LDL ->100 is very normal.
3)triglycerides- treatment is given only if >500.
4)total cholesterol
your values are very much within the range.i don’t suggest any medicine for my patients with such a scenario.simple life style modifications would do the job like :
1)balanced diet with very less carbohydrates,moderate proteins,low fats,high fibre.
2)avoid junk and processed foods and added sugars.
3)regular exercise for 45min/day for 5days a week.
4)instead of fish oil tablets,which can cause adverse effects at high doses,you can have natural fish weekly twice or so.
finally,in my opinion,there is no abnormality in your lipid profile and no need of any pharmacological treatment as of now.just relax and have a stress free life.hope my explanation clears all your doubts.i wish you and your family a very happy,healthy and prosperous new year 2018.any other health issues,please let me know.its my pleasure to address your concerns.thank you.take care.bye.
