Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have very bad acne since a few months after my child ws born (july 6th, 2015) I am still breastfeeding (morning, before his afternoon nap and before he goes to sleep at night). Could I take just ONE cycle of Diane 35 to help clear my skin a little bit?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Yes, you can definitely take Diene 35 tablet. It is combination of cyproterone and estrogen. Both are female hormones. And reason for your acne is mostly hormonal imbalance because of pregnancy and breastfeeding. So you can try hormonal pills. Also apply clindamycin cream on acne lesions. Drink plenty of fluids orally. Avoid oily and spicy food. Avoid junk food. Avoid excessive sun exposure. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Take sound sleep of 6-8 hours. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
