How Can Chronic Cough While Suffering From COPD Be Treated?
My wife is 75 yrs old has copd . pulmonary emphysema. and has a terrible cough coughing up brownish/redish mucus from her lungs does that sound like pneumonia? jerry I will pay you later ps I want to take her to to ER but she wants to wait. we usually have a 3 way vote but no family around that s where you come in Jerry paller like I said we are on social security and have only debit card no money to backit up untin next week thanks anyway thanks anyway. have a nice eve

Thank you for concern of your wife's COPD. Cough is common when it's thick with colour and has smell that is necessary to start treatment especially antibiotic to control and treat the infection. Chest x-ray is necessary to rule out pneumonia.
