How Can Chronic Cough While Suffering From Pneumonia Be Treated?
I have double pneumonia and have been taking ZPak since Saturday, I am still coughing at night and feel like I am a couch potato and have lack of energy, am I exlpecting the medication to be helping by this point better than I feel or am I just to anxious to get better. I am 71 and female no real healthy problems expect high blood pressure and a stroke 13 yrs ago.

Kindly mention whether you have dry cough or wet cough.
For wet cough Ambroxol containing syrup can be prescribed.
For dry cough dextromethorphan containing syrup can be prescribed
Complete antibiotic course.
Take one tsp turmeric powder with milk daily
If no improvement after antibiotic course than sputum examination needed
