How Can Chronic Sore Throat Be Treated?

I have had a chronic sore throat for over a month. I had back surgery 5 weeks ago and I was intubated. I had complications due to the intubation and anastasia in the form of severe burping and hiccuping, lasting almost a week. Was finally given Baclafin which solved the problem. I have been to a doctor and my throat was not very inflamed. He gave me antibiotics but they didn t relieve the problem. The virus test came back negative. Any thoughts?

The esophagitis caused by intubation may be the cause of your 'sore throat'.
Try taking a liquid antacid with anaesthetic in it 2 tsp three times a day and slowly swallow--it may help--regards
