How Can Circumcision Wound Be Healed?

Hi,am 32 years old and got circumcised 4 weeks ago but until now the lower part is not healing.It dries in the day but whenever i erect normaly in the morning it cracks and reverses the process again. Is it normal ?Is there anything i need to do to avoid erecting and or cracking?and how much longer can it take to heal?Thanks Doctor

Hello,

Usually, it might take 1 week to get the circumcision wound healed. After 4 weeks, it is totally healed. I think you have not washed the area well to remove the cracked parts.

So, to me, should consult with urologist, should wash with warm water and soap; apply saline solution to dampen the cracked parts, and then, gently remove them with a sterile gauze.

I think that should not be a problem. You can send a photo to me to get a better idea and help you further.
