How Can Concussion And Headache Along With Ear Pain be Treated?

Hello, my 13 years old son had a mild concussion almost 4 months ago, he still getting headaches and earaches, very sensitive to sounds . We did a cat scan at the hospital, it was clear, eye exam also was alright. no other symptoms of post concussion, but head aches. Advil doesn t help too much. What can be done about that? Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. I understand your concerns.
I think that first, CT scan is not accurate enough so i would be advisable to do MRI scan adn EEg since symptoms should not persist for such a long time. Second, paracetamol may be better option and some antimigraine medications may be helpful as well. In most cases symptoms pull bac within 3 months after injury but sometimes may persist for longer.In every case these imaging tests should be done to see if there is some functional disorder.
