How Can Cough In An Infant Be Treated?

Hello sir, my baby is 3months old, she is having little cough from 2months but when we consulted doctor he didn t give any medication, he just advised that it won t hurt, it s ok. But from past 4days little cough was increased. So today we consulted doctor he told to give ambroxol hydrochloride & Salbutamol syrup 2ml twice daily for 3-4 days, is it safe for 3months old?

hello. Yes ambroxol hydrochloride and salbutamol will help your baby and you should dont worry because are safe treatment for children. You can also use aerosol with NaCl which will help and in any case if the situation is not getting better you should consult the doctor again. Hope the best for you. Hope my advice is helpful to you.
