How Can Diarrhea And Stomach Infection Be Treated?
We were in Mexico 2 weeks ago was ok till 3 days after trip had severe diarrhea took pepto felt better formed stools now passing lots of gas and jelly like fluids put finger in rectum no bowel smell comes out clear last bm Saturday am no fever cramping occasionally like wanting to have bm but fades. active bowel sounds any ideas??
As a physician I would like to tell you that what you might be suffering is a stomach infection which is is resolving phase. You should take a full antibiotic course like Tablet Cefixime, along with probiotics like Cap Vibact or Normagut sachets and anti acidity drugs like Cap Omeprazole.
I would also like to tell you that you should visit your physician if the symptoms does not subside after 10 days.
