Hello,

As per your query, you have symptoms of earache along with throat pain and headache which is mainly due to left sided tooth abscess which is building pressure and could be due to upper respiratory tract infection spread to ear through Eustachian tube.

I would suggest you to take Ibuprofen drug for pain and apply dry warm compresses on external ear. You should do warm saline gargles.

You should consult dentist/ENT specialist for proper checkup. The doctor may order blood tests and throat swab tests. The doctor may prescribe antibiotics like along with anti-inflammatory.

Avoid cold carbonated beverages and avoid intake of hot, sharp and spicy foods. Go for periapical x-ray of that particular tooth and get treatment started if it is due to tooth infection only.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
