How Can Elevated PSA Levels Be Treated?

I had my PSA done in June at annual physical. It was up in the 5 range, normally ran 2 to 3. I had it redone 3 months later, and it was back down. They checked it again 3 months later to make sure, it was up again. He said he neve saw any go up, then back down, than up again. Now they want to do a prostate biopsy. I am concerned about infection, expecially from antibiotic resistant bacteria. He is giving me two antibiotic pills 2 hours before procedure, that is all. What do I do?
