Hi I am taken 40mm lisinopril and my blood pressure is 154/114 and I have been on them for a month started out at 10mm up to 20mm and now 40mm my blood pressure is not going down I ,ve been working out every day for two weeks and riding my bike after that what,s next

welcome to hcm ..sometimes the bp does not fall easily ..one thing is sure that after one month of any drug bp comes down ..it must have come down by one month and if there is no effect then please add tab amlodipine 5 mg once a day ..then wait for 1 week .. avoid fried fatty salted foods ..avoid smoking and alcohal go for morning or evening walk .. also undergo test for urine complete ..b urea ...s creatinine .. with regards dr varinder joshi
