How Can Elevated Blood Pressure Levels Be Treated?

My blood pressure has been the past week. I am on Linsinopril and have been for years. Tonight it is 183/105. I wasn t sure if I needed to go to the emergency room to be checked or wait until monday to see my doctor. I am 51 years old and weigh 160 lbs. I hate to go to the ER and have it be nothing serious. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

Sir I understand your concern for your health condition. Blood pressure of 183/105 is definitely high. I would suggest to go ER and get yourself evaluated. As such high blood pressure may cause damage to other vital organs I hope my answer will be of help to you. Wish you speedy recovery.
