How Can Elevated Blood Pressure Levels Be Treated?
Hi...I am in the USA until the 27th o February . I take losartan potassium for my high blood pressure 2x pills per day morning and night. My problem is I have lost the remainder of my pills and I am trying to find the cheapest solution to my problem, I do have my doctors prescription written in English but it’s not accepted at pharmacy’s here. I’ve been seeing what consultation fees are like and our exchange rate makes it extremely expensive to consult. I wAs thinking maybe I could take something else until I return to Brazil or perhaps take over the counter medication that will have a similar effect. My travel insurance doesn’t cover me either. Thanks
Hello dear. Welcome to Healthcaremagic. I read your query and I understand your concern. I think there are not otc medications for blood pressure. There are medications you can use instead for example Benazepri lCaptopril Ceritinib Enalapril etc but is dangerous to change them yourself with talking to your doctor. Take care. Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help you. Best regards. Dr Olgeta Xhufka ( general and family physician ).
