Hello,

You need to be evaluated to know which type of blood pressure.

Is it white coat hypertension or masked hypertension or essential hypertension or secondary hypertension?

You need office blood pressure and clinic blood pressure examination at least two proper regards an average. Then if they are high need ambulatory blood pressure or home blood pressure monitoring for 24 hours.

So, then it is to be treated. 180 blood pressures is high so low salt diet, high fiber diet with regular exercise may useful.

Please consult your physician he will select correct medicine depends upon your age and co morbidities.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
