General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

First of all, I would like to know your age to comment on your treatment and causes of hypertension.

As per general rule, if your blood pressure is not under control with beta blockers, then you should be started on ace inhibitors. Please consult your general physician as soon as possible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammad Adnan Iqbal
