How Can Elevated Body Temperature Be Regulated?

Hello, I am a 32 year old woman who has had the left side of her thyroid removed. Currently I am experiencing difficulty cooling down. I do work outside at a farmers market and I also dabble in landscaping. Since last week I have had trouble adequately keeping cool. I just took my temp and it was 97.3 but I still feel very warm. I am only cool when I sleep.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

That's a normal body temperature. Drink loads of water and fluids in any form. Thyroid removal won't cause the issue.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pratik
