I have facial herpes 100% positive of this. I read it goes away on its own between 14-21 days. However it hasn t since I keep picking the scabs off and then putting cover up over the areas to prevent people from seeing it and basically re-infecting myself. I ts been a month and a half now since I got probably thorugh vaginal discharges from perfoming oral sex a lot. My mother says I need to get anti-viral medication. She is a nurse now for 30 years, but I have not taken her advice. Do I need a prescription or is there any home remedies I can use for this really frustrating and irritating problem that just doesn t seem to go away and every time it does then all the sudden it pops back up.
