How Can Fever In A Child Be Treated?

My son is 2.6 year old and 15 kg. He is suffering from fever for past 24 hour with maximum 101.5F. we have given ibugesic 6ml about 4 hours back and still temperature is 101.7F. do we need to wait 2 more hours to give ibugesic or walk to hospital? Thanks

you do not need to take him to hospital. you let him drink oresol, orange juice. Give the child plenty of fluids and wear cool clothes. Take them into sheltered places, remove his clothes and warm towel for baby wipes people, especially the parts underarm, lymph nodes, groin ...
