How Can Fibroadenoma On The Left Breast Be Treated?
Hi , I want to ask you one thing I am having fibroadenoma in my left breast nipple from last 4 years. I went to the doctor right after I found it. They do the whole examination through ultrasound and biopsy. And at the end they said you don t have to worry but if you want to remove it so we can go through the surgery but my parents don t want that surgery thing. I want to ask this thing that I am feeling pain in my left arm so what should I do ? Is it because of fibroadenoma or what Please clear my confusion Or I must go for the sugery ? Or can it effect my married life just because I am getting married soon Please help me
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
If left arm pain is there since long time then its cause needs to be evaluated on parameters of cervical spondylosis, compression of nerve roots, cardiac causes, etcetera.
X-ray cervical spine, ECG like investigations can be done primarily. Kindly mention size of fibroadenoma for giving more comment.
You can get the fibroadenoma removed as it is present since a long time. If you don't want to remove it then regular follow-up is needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Parth Goswami
