General & Family Physician, Dr. Varinder's Response
Hello,
Please see that fluid in lung is treated according to type and amount .If fluid in lung alveoli called pulmonary edema it is treated by drugs as diuretic if small but if large and kidney failure by dialysis.
If fluid is in pleural cavity then treated by drugs if small and by pleural tapping or chest tube if fluid level more. So, you have to visit a doctor as he will determine type and amount of fluid by chest examination and chest x-ray.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Varinder Joshi
