How Can Heart Palpitations After Childbirth Be Treated?

I just had baby number 3 10 weeks ago and have been having pvcs. I have had them for years but one every once in a while. Last week I had them all day. I do have anxiety since having babies. I had an ekg and wore a holter and they showed pvcs and pacs. I had an echo that was normal. I am still worried though. They are happening when I excercise then I get anxiety. I'm 36 and otherwise very healthy and athletic. I had high cholesterol a few years back but. My doc told me it was b/c my good cholesterol was high. Should I still be worried about the pvcs? Its very hard not to be.

Hello ma'am

Honestly the answer is that you should not be worried for them, the more you will be anxious the more vpcs can occur. But even if you find yourself helpless then you can consult your doctor and discuss your options to start some low dose beta blockers ( avoid atenolol) to prevent those PVC s . But still I would like to advise you to stay calm and avoid medicines as far possible as they pass to baby to certain extent through milk.

I wish you good luck
