How Can High Fever Along With Headache And Sore Throat Be Treated?
Trying to determine whether to bring my 18 year old son to urgent care. Fever (101-103) for 3 days, headache, sore throat (no spots), chills, cough (started today). Started feeling ill 3 days ago with just diarrhea. Don t want to take him out to infect others if it s not necessary. Should we wait a day or two more?

Hello,
He may be suffering from acute viral pharyngitis with fever. Need to do gargle (salt water) thrice a day for five days. Use paracetamol thrice a day for five days. Do Tepid sponging all over the body.
If symptoms not improved, then please consult your physician so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.
