How Can Inflammation In The Colon Be Treated?

I am 13 months out of my partial coletomy. My colon still gets quite inflamed after only a few hours of moderate activities and this causes pain. I have a difficult time walking when this happens and must lay down. What are some possibilities of why this may be happening?

Hello,

What is the reason for you undergone partial colectomy? I think you may be due to inflammatory bowel disease or post colectomy you developed inflammation. History not proper and sufficient to say the cause.

If it is IBD, many drugs available like NSAIDS, antibiotics, immunomodulators or immunosuppressants, and probiotics etcetera. Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
