I have read through your question and here is my opinion.

Sotalol is a beta blocker and used to treat ventricular arrhythmia. Sotalol AF is specifically given for Atrial fibrillation. Tab Multaq which contains Dronedarone is also used to treat Atrial fibrillation. You have to discuss this with your attending physician which of the two drugs is better for your condition.
