How Can Irregular Heartbeats Along With Cough Be Treated?
Just recently I have started experiencing an irregular heartbeat. It feels like a fullness in my chest and my heart feels like it is skipping beats. The sensation makes me cough. I can feel it skip when I take my pulse. I had a baby 2 months ago and she is my sixth. Anything you could tell me would really help. Thank you.
Hi, I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns. As per your description your problem seem to be palpitations,or it could be an arrhythmia( irregular heart rhythm ).You need early evaluation to find out exact cause of your problem. Anemia is a common cause for palpitations and repeated child birth may caused anemia and it might be the reason for your palpitations. You can use iron rich foods like green leafy vegetables in your diet to tackle anemia. I suggest you to consult a cardiologist or a physician for proper evaluation. He would do baseline investigation like ECG and blood routine(to rule out anemia). You may also require tests like 2D echo and holter monitoring to check whether there is any structaral defects in your heart. Do not waste time and fix an appointment soon, because early diagnosis and treatment surely have better results. Hope this information helps. Regards.
