Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Adequate treatment for your condition may only be obtained if the exact cause is identified and treated.Dysfunctional/irregular uterine bleeding may be caused by many medical conditions. Some possible causes may include: -Hormonal imbalances/ovarian dysfunction -STI/PID -Pelvic masses -Pregnancy and related complications are less likely in your case given the duration of your symptoms. The best thing to do will be to see a Gynecologist to have the cause investigated.Tests that may help identify cause may include: pelvic ultrasound, SIT/PID work-ups, hormonal work-ups such as progesterone and ostrogen levels. In most women, the cause of this condition is hormonal imbalance that may respond well on combined progestin and ostrogen pills. You may see your Doctor for a prescription after eliminating infectious and organic causes of such symptoms Hope this will help Best regards
