How Can Itching All Over The Body Be Treated?

Hello I am taking benazepril for high blood pressure and my doctor recently gave me 4 kinds of prescription to treat my swollen, itch feet. He gave me furosemide, sulfamethoxazole, hydroxyzine andklor-con for 10 days and told me that all of the swollen, itchiness and soreness will be gone. I am on the 10th day and I just stated itching all over my body. I had to take a shower to get rid of the itch. I use alcohol on my feet. My question to you..is this normal protocol and should I give it a few more days to clear up or go back to my doctor asap?

Hi,

Consult a dermatologist and get evaluated. It could be a severe allergic eruptions. As a first line management you can try antihistamines like Pheneramine for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
