How Can Itchy Rashes On The Upper Arms Be Treated?

I have a skin rash. It is currently on my inner, upper arms. Each arm is a mirror image of the other. It is very, very itchy. It does tend to move around as it started in my underarm and is spreading. I have been to an allergist and I am not allergic to anything. I have been to a dermatologist who gave me steroids that cleared it somewhat. It s back - again. Help!?

Hi,

Looks like an allergic reaction, as you have been relieved with steroid then another dose of steroid injection has to be taken.

Along with it, you can take oral anti-allergics like Fexofenadine or Levocetirizine. Apply Betamethasone ointment over it for relief. Do cool compresses over it.

Calamine lotion can also be applied to soothe the skin. Along with it, you should also get an Allergy test done to rule out the exact cause of the symptoms.

Also, you should check for bedbugs and once disinfect your bedding by putting them in strong sunlight.

Avoid using any chemical cosmetics, apply aloe vera gel to lubricate.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
