Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service. I reviewed your query and here is my advice. The amniotic fluid is essential for the development of muscles, limbs, lungs, and the digestive system. In the second trimester, the baby begins to breathe and swallow the fluid to help their lungs grow and mature. The amniotic fluid also helps the baby develop muscles and limbs by providing plenty of room to move around. Low amniotic fluid can be caused due to maternal diabetes, insufficient placenta or v a baby kidney problems. She should *have planty of fluids and water *have frequent bathe and rest *stevia is proven to increase amniotic fluid.
Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
