Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I take medication for high blood pressure, but I also check my blood pressure before taking it. Today my blood pressure has been running low all day , the last time I took it it was 89/50, the lowest so far , it seems to be getting lower each time . What should I do.
Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.
This blood pressure is on quite a lower side and this may cause problems, I would suggest you to contact your doctor and discuss with him about the problem, i would suggest such patients in my clinic to cut the dose to half of what they are originally taking already . But still it is advised to contact your doctor and discuss with him your readings.
I hope this answered your question, If you have more queries I am happy to answer you. Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad
