Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
One side of nose is congested and it switches. Ear occasionally hurts. Has been sick for about 4 days. Super tried. On and off fever. Just making sure this ain’t a sign of a ear infection or sinus infection coming.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you take preventive measures. Take a diet rich in vitamin B12. Maintain complete hygiene and give water to sip. Apply mist humidifiers in the room. Do nasal saline rinses. Apply warm compresses to ear.
If symptoms keep on persisting, then visit ENT specialist without any delay and get it examined. Go for the blood test and start treatment after the complete examination. Take the combination of anti-inflammatory and antibiotic medication.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
