How Can Nausea And Diarrhea Caused By Hydrocodone Overdose Be Treated?
I took too much hydrocodone with acetaminophen on Wednesday. I had a total of 50mg hydrocodone and 3125mg acetaminophen in the 24 hour period. It was accidental. It was a one time thing for a gallstone attack. I do not drink. I have had nausea but not throwing up, diarrhea and loss of appetite since then. It has been over 48 hours. What should I do to feel better?

How Can Nausea And Diarrhea Caused By Hydrocodone Overdose Be Treated?
Hi, Generally, the symptoms will settle by itself in a couple of days. As a first management, you can take antacids like Pantoprazole for symptomatic relief. Drink plenty of water and take adequate rest. If symptoms persist, you have to consult a physician and get evaluated, in that case, you might require antidotes. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
